ARRlVED.—December 10. Holmdalo, s.s. (8.30 a.m.), 681 tons, Holm, from Wanganui via Wellington. SAILED. —December 9. Waipiata, s.s. (4.15 p.m.), 2,826 tons, Elders, for Bluff. Breeze, s.s. (6.10 p.m.), 542 tons, M'Artluir, for Wanganui via ports. The Holmdalo arrived this morningfrom Wellington to load cargo. She sails to-night for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. The Waipiata, which left for Bluff yesterday afternoon, is to sail from the southern port again at 3_ o’clock to-morrow afternoon for Dunedin. She then loads at this port on Monday for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland, The Breezy got away last night for Wanganui via ports. , Timed to sail at 5 p.m. to-day, the Opihi goes to Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Nelson, and Now Plymouth. On Saturday the Wainui is to leave Wellington for Dunedin, Bluff, and Melbourne. The Waikouaiti is expected to return to Dunedin from Lyttelton and Timaru on Monday. She unloads coal and then goes back to Sydney direct from this port. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion steamer Pakeha is due at Bluff from Australia on December 21 to load. She will also take in cargo at Lyttelton, Wanganui, Auckland, and Wellington. The vessel is scheduled to sail from Wellington for Southampton and Loudon via Panama and Jamaica on January 16. The Storm and the Gale are due at Dunedin on Monday and AVcdnesday respectively. Both vessels arc to load for Wanganui via ports. THE FERRY SERVICE. The Rangatira arrived at Lyttelton from Wellington this morning, berthing at 6.45 to land passengers and mails in time to catch the south train. PROPOSED SAILINGS. As agents for the Federal Company, the New Zealand Shipping Company advises the following proposed sailings from Liverpool;— Otaio, on December 19 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. Due Auckland January 22. Cornwall, on January 30 for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers. Duo Auckland March 8. Orari, on February 20 for Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. Due Auckland March 25. Northumberland, on April 2 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, and Now Plymouth. Due Auckland May 10. Opawa, on May 14 for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. Due Auckland June 17. MAUI POMARE’S FRUIT. Messrs H. L. Taplcy and Co. advise that the Maui Pomarc is expected to berth at Dunedin at 8 a.m. to-morrow to put out Island bananas. Three thousand cases arc consigned to Dunedin, and of these 1,200 cases are for railing between Oamaru and Invercargill. ROTORUA’S ARRIVAL. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Rotorua, from London and Southampton via Suva, is duo at Wellington on Sunday to land passengers and part cargo. She is now duo at Port Chalmers on Tuesday for further discharge. THE KANNA. The Union Company’s steamer Kama reached Lyttelton this morning from Walpole Island and Noumea to put off guano. A quantity is also for discharge at .Dunedin, whore she is expected on 1 Sunday.;

MONOWAI LEAVES PAPEETE. Cabled advice has been received by the Union Company that its liner Monowai, en route from San Francisco, left Papeete at 5 p.m. last Saturday for Rarotonga, Wellington, and Sydney, She is due at Wellington next Monday morning, and will leave again the following afternoon for Sydney. THE KARAMEA. The Shaw, Savill motor ship was scheduled to leave London yesterday for Suva, Port Chalmers, Lyttelton, and Napier. She is duo at Suva on January 12 and at Port Chalmers on January 19. MAKURA LEAVES RAROTONGA. Cabled advice has been received by the Union Company that the R.M.S. Makura, from Sydney and Wellington, left Rarotonga at 5 p.m, last Friday for Papeete and San Francisco, where she is duo on December 18. THE SONOMA. The Matson Line steamer Sonoma left Sydney on Tuesday for Auckland, where she is due next Saturday morning. She will leave there again later the same day for Suva, Pago Pago, Honolulu, and San Francisco, where she is due on December 30. THE TAIROA. Having left London in ballast on October 30, the S.S. and A. steamer Tairoa is duo at New Plymouth on December 14 to commence loading for London and W.G.U.K. ports. She will also load at Wanganui, Napier, Auckland, Timaru, and Port Chalmers, and is to sail on her homeward voyage on January 7. VESSELS IN WIRELESS CALL.
