Tom Mix lies in a state of coma at Hollywood Hospital, suffering from gangrene, which developed after an emergency operation for appendicitis. Lya De Putti is in tho Hospital of St. Arisem hero suffering from pneumonia, which developed after a throat operation pecessitated by a slight scratch from a chicken bone.
