THE MONETARY SYSTEM MR THEODORE’S VIEWS. Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, November 24. Speaking at Glebe the Federal Treasurer (Mr E, G. Theodore) is reported to have said that drastic changes in the monetary system in order to copo with unemployment were absolutely necessary. He added: “ Unless the nations of the world unite and solve the financial problem, Australia, acting alone, will be driven to solving her own industrial problems regardless of the rest of the world.”
