INDIAN PROBLEM
PRIME MINISTER TO MAKE STATEMENT (British Official Wireless.) Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright, RUGBY, November 23. In the House of Commons the Prime Minister (Mr Ramsay MacDonald) said that he hoped that before the House rose for the recess there would be opportunity for a debate on the work of the Indian Round Table Conference. Earlier in the day the Prime Minister met his Ministerial colleagues who are delegates to the conference, and afterwards he had a series of interviews with the leaders of various sections of the Indian delegates. Lord Sankey and Sir Samuel Hoaro (Secretary for India) wore also present. During the day the Aga Khan (head of the Moslem delegation), Sardar Ujjal Singh (the principal Sikh delegate), Sir Tej Sapru (moderate Hindu leader), Dr Ambcdkar (lender of the depressed classes), and Sir Annepu Patro (Hindu Liberal leader) were received. To-night the Prime Minister is the guest of Sir Akbar Hydari at dinner, and to-morrow ho will meet Mr Gandhi.
