AMERICAN FARM BOARD REVELATIONS IN ANNUAL REPORT. Presi Association—By Telegraph-Copyright. WASHINGTON, November 24. (Received November 25, at 10 a.m.) Tho spectacular and costly operations of the Federal Farm Board are revealed in the annual eport, which was placed before the Senate’s Agricultural Committee. Out of its 500,000,000d0l revolving fund tho following expenditures were made Tho board purchased 329,641,000 bushels of wheat for 270,204.OOOdol (189,656,000 bushels remained unsold on November 1); the board paid an average prico of 81.97 cents per bushel, as against the present cash price of approximately 55 cents; the board purchased 1,319,000 bales of cotton at a cost of 107,533,000d01, and still holds approximately tho entire ipmntity; the board paid an average price of 16.3 cents per pound, whereas - the present price is 6 cents; the board loaned out for wheat stabilisation 160,148,000d01, and for cotton stabilisation 74,953,000 dol. No estimates are given ns to the board’s probable total losses.
