Babies who "act” in tbo film studios of Hollywood cannot bo exposed to the intense lights for more than thirty seconds at a time, and may only be employed for four hours in any one day, including rest periods. The baby’s salary is £ls a day, while the mother and nurse, who are always in attendance, are paid in addition.
