Mr T. Ritchie, bound for InvercaPc gill on a short business trip, was a passenger by the south express to-day. Mr A. B. Natusch left for Wellington by this morning’s express. Mr E. H. Murney, of Tapanui, returned south by this morning’s express. Messrs A. L. and P. Braham leave to-morrow on a two months’ visit to Australia. When the Dunedin Stock Exchange assembled this morning, Mr J. H. Walker, w r ho presided in the absence of the chairman (Mr Harman Reeves) stated that it was with deep regret that they had received the news of the death of one of their members, Mr A. W. M. Moodie. The deceased was well-known to all, and the members all recognised his ability. A motion of sympathy with, the relatives was passed, the members standing in silence. Messrs H. T. Vickery, George M'Namara, H. J. Buck, and R. Burn (Wellington), and Mr Alan_ W. Milburn (Christchurch) are visitors to the grand Hotel. At the City Hotel, the register includes Mr and Mrs C. Lawrence (Auckland), Air and Airs R. Dickey, Messrs •1. Wood and C. Bennell (Wellington),Messrs J. D. Hall, I, Sewell, and C. Benson (Christchurch), Air W. Bryant (Ashburton), Air and Mrs P. G.
