A ■ meeting of the above was held, yesterday in the Y.W.C.A. Hall. Mr.j W. Ballantyne presided over a fair at-! tendance of delegates. Reports of de-j t putations from the works department,-' gas and electric light departments, and! the Unemployment Committee were dis-j cussed, also a report re a deputation:' to the Alliance of Labour. A depute-J tion was appointed to wait on the local! Unemployment Committee re com-, plaints from different groups and to interview the R.S.A. as to proposed unemployment demonstration. The secretary was instructed ■to make arrange-, meats for the general meeting in Burns Hall on November 30, instead, of De-j cember 3. Two speakers will address the meeting. ■
