TAKEN TO TASK
LORD TENNYSON'S INDISCRETION Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, November 5. The * Daily Sketch ’ editorially snubs Lord Tennyson for suggesting that Bradman is anxious to get his name into print. The paper says: “ Lord Tennyson is no Bradman, but he should know that first-class cricketers have not to spend sleepless nights trying to induce the Press to mention them, it is the second-rater who has to hunt lor publicity. Bradman is news, and so, for a different reason, is a speech like Lord Tennyson’s.”
