ANDERSON'S BAY SCOUTS

ANNUAL MEETING The annual meeting of the Anderson’s Bay Boy Scouts, Rovers, and Cubs was hold in the district school gymnasium last night, the chairman being Mr J. C. H. Somerville. A largo attendance of parents and friends included District Scoutmaster Phelan, District Cnbmaster Watt, and District Scoutmaster M'Callum. The Chairman spoke of the work carried out during the year by the committee, and made particular reference to Scouter ADlndoo, who had been transferred to Wellington. It was decided to express appreciation of the Scouter’s services over a period of several years. The balance-sheet disclosed a credit of £2 15s 5d , , Scoutmaster Phelan presented the football shield to the troop and congratulated it on winning the trophy a second time. He also presented badges won during the year. Dialogues wore contributed by Scouts and Rovers. The following committee _ was appointed:—Airs King, Airs Hrixton, Alt's .Black, Airs Williams, Airs APJndoc, Miss White, Aliss Wither, Air and Airs J. C. H. Somerville, Air and Airs 11. Cuthrie, Air and Airs J. IT. Kirkwood, Air and Mrs L. Huggins, Air and Airs Alalcolmson, the Rev. L. Richards, and Messrs R. Lee, J. Gerrard, G. Luke, Jarratt, and G. T. Anderson.
