Owing to tho low prices and the uncertainty of tho position abroad tho Australian wool offerings may bo curtailed. This may be determined after the Brisbane sales, ' which will be opened to-day, and the London sales tomorrow. Meanwhile New Zealand and South African growers have been cabled to for their views. The average price realised at the Sydney sales a fortnight ago was CJd, and the average for Australian sales for the two months, July nd August, was 6.94 d per lb.
