BLIND COUPLE'S AIR TRIP PARIS, August G. A blind couple, M. ami Mime Tosta, have flow, from Cannes to Paris in the hope ot having their infirmity removed. The pair, who live in a little village m the Alpcs Maritimos Department, came together five years ago. To their common blindness was added a common penury, and they have lived m dire necessity throughout their union, being dependent on tho charity of neighbours for their existence. Their sorrowful case excited the pity ot a family acquainted with a Paris doctor, who, specialising in tho treatment of blindness, has, it is said, succeeded in restoring the sight to a score of people. This medical man agreed to examine this double case with a, view to a possible operation without foe. There remained the problem of the hopelessly expensive journey from the .Riviera to the capital. This was happily solved by Captain Fournier, director of an air line between Cannes and Paris, who offered two places in one of his company's machines.
