Tlio Public Trustee proceeded against James William Popo on a claim for £37 3s (id. but alter the defendant had explained liis position no order was made. J CDEMENT FOR DEFENDANT. Reserved judgment was given in tlio ease in which Battersby and Co. (Mr 0. .Stevens) proceeded against John Frederick Roseubrock (Mr R. M. King) on a claim for £SO. alleging that defendant bad given plaintiff an 10U for that amount. After reviewing the facts of tho case : judgment was given for the defendant, with costs (£G 4s).
