AUCKLAND, February 16. Tho Waitemata Power Board, iu deciding to-day to doante £2OO to the earthquake relief fund, specified that the sum bo used for immediate relief. One member said that the funds subscribed for the Murchison sufferers were held up in Wellington for three months. The Auckland Savings Bank trustees are donating £1,500 subject to validation. Exclusive of the above, the Auckland city funds total £27,500. TE AEOHA, February 16. The Piako • County Council to-day made a donation of £IOO to tho earthquake fund.
