The Brazilian lias invited Sir Otto Niemeyer to visit Brazil and give advice in connection with the reconstruction of the ' Bank of Brazil as an orthodox central hank on independent lines, also on monetary reform, the stabilisation of the exchange, the maintenance of a Budget balance, thd publication of periodic Budget figures, and the limitation of foreign borrowing.
