Unbounded interest was displayed on all sides, not only by hroadsiding fans generally, but also by many hundreds of others anxious to see the British champion, “ Squib ” Burton, in action, and the many other stars billed to appear at the meeting. The decision was therefore left over till (ho very last minute, and although the track appeared to be in excellent eondi lion, the seating accommodation did not show signs of drying sufficiently. Undismayed and determined to afford the Dunedin public an opportunity of seeing the champions in action, regardloss of expense, llio management now announces that arrangements have have been arrived at whereby the same programme previously advertised will ho presented to-morrow evening. As “ Squib ” Burton, Lyn Hale, and Hilary Buchanan have other engagements to fulfil in New Zealand, patrons are reminded that Saturday will now be the only opportunity available of seeing thorn in action.
