ROWDY STUDENTS

GLASGOW UNIVERSITY FORMS POLICE FORGE GLASGOW, December 16. The rowdyism displayed by undergraduates of Glasgow University at meetings of the University Union addressed by distinguished people, had a sequel yesterday. The Union Board met to consider the position following a scene which took place when Countess Dohno of Germany was howled down

“ Suspects ” appeared before the board, and were severely reprimanded. In addition, a volunteer corps was formed to maintain law and order at future meetings

Later in the day the corps was present at an address given by Professor Bowman, but their services were not required, quiet being maintained for the first time for a year or two.
