TRAMWAYS BAND
Tito Tramways Land will shortly open its "rand carnival and fair. A stron" committee has been at work for some oonsiderahio time getting evoryr thing in order for Tuesday next. The carnival will ho officially opened by Or W. A. Scott (chairman Tramways Committee). Competitions of all kinds will bo held during the carnival—baking, frame beauty, baby show (three classes), champion baby, and special prize for twins. There will be games of every description—skittles, knoek-ems, shies, etc. The stalls will bo loaded with the best of everything to please those in search of Christmas novelties. Father Christmas will arrive in state on Wednesday afternoon with a treat for the children. The trustees of the Arcade have kindly reopened it to assist the band Music will bo supplied by the did Artillery and Tramways Lands during the big fair.
