USES FOR OLIVE OIL

Olivo oil has many household uses. Cutlets are greatly improved if they are soaked in pure olive oil an hour or two before they are cooked. The toughest meat is inado tender in this way, and tho flavour is greatly improved. Very dirty, work-grimed hands can bo restored to their normal softness and cleanliness if olivo oil is poured on them and they are nibbed together, as if washing, until all tho oil is- absorbed. When washing chamois leather ;dd a little olivo oil to the water, and the soap will lather much more freely, and the leather be cleaner and softer. This is specially good in tho case of gloves.
