While the premiums are so moderate that they represent an annual saving of 10 per cent, to 15 per cent, on the rates charged by other companies for with-profit contracts, the latest valuation produced a surplus sufficient for an immediate bonus of £1 15s per cent, per annum to whole-life policy-holders, 1 , and £1 10s per cent, per annum to holders of endowment assurance policies.
