' The Waimarino arrived yesterday from th north with cargo. She also loads bore and sails to-morrow for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. The Progress, which arrived at Dunedin yesterday from Lyttelton, sails tonight for New Plymouth and Waikato via ports. The Culm arrived yesterday from Wanganui via ports to discharge general cargo. She left again this afternoon for Bluff and Port Craig. The vessel is duo back again later in the week to load for Wanganui via ports. The* Opjbi arrived yesterday to load for Nelson and .Now Plymouth via ports. She sails hence at 10 o’clock to-night. The Waikouaiti, which is discharging coal here just now, sails to-morrow for Sydney. Next Friday the Wingatui is duo hero from Bluff to load for the north. The Waipiata was to leave Auckland to-day for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Timaru. Tomorrow week the Wainni is fixed to load at Dunedin for Napier and Gisborne via, ports. BEPA.I US TO WESTMORELAND. Instead of going to Lyttelton and Dunedin to complete discharge of her general cargo from New York, the Federal steamer Westmoreland is remaining ,:it Wellington for engine repairs, and cargo for the South Island will bo transhipped. The Federal Company advises that the Hertford, which is scheduled to leave Liverpool on February 1.4 lor New Zealand ports, will include New Plymouth in her ports of discharge, which will now he Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton. Dunedin, and New Plymouth. The Now Zealand Shipping Company’s new motor ship Orari, which is scheduled to loam .Liverpool on March 11 for New Zealand ports, to the agency of the Federal Company, will include Napier in her ports of discharge, which will now he Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, end Port Chalmers, CANADIAN CRUISER LEAVES MONTREAL. Canadian National Steamships have received cabled advice that the Canadian Cruiser left Montreal on Novembo 25 for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, and Dunedin, She is duo at Auckland on January 8. THE PORT HUNTER. The C. and D. vessel Port Hunter, from Now York, reached Auckland yesterday afternoon. She was to leave there again to-day tor Wellington, where she is due next Wednesday. She will discharge the remainder of her cargo at Wellington, owing to the small quantity that she lias on board for Lyttelton and Dunedin, which will he transhipped, and is to leave Wellington on December G loi New Plymouth to commence her Homeward, loading..
ROTORUA AND REMDERA. The New Zealand Shipping ■ Company’s liner Rotorua arrived at Wellington on Saturday evening from London and Southampton, two days ahead of schedule. The Rotorua is due at Port Chalmers to-morrow afternoon to discharge Loudon cargo. The company’s liner Romuora arrived at Wellington* yesterday morning from London and Southampton, and in addition to passengers and mail for New Zealand, brought general merchandise for discharge at Wellington ami Auckland THE BORGESTAD. The Norwegian motor ship Borgestal, which arrived from Galveston, Texas, via Auckland and New Plymouth, berthed at Port Chalmers yesterday morning to unload sulphur. The vessel sailed from Galveston on October 11 and cleared Panama on October 18. Strong westerly winds and rough head seas encountered during the last week of the voyage delayed her arrival at Auckland by about three days. PERSONAL. Captain G. B. Morgan tool; command of the Maheno at Wellington, on Friday, relieving Captain J. Ryan for holidays. Messrs E. R. Pate and 1. li. M‘Rao joined the Maheno on Friday as third anti fourth officers respectively, relieving Messrs C. R. Carlyon and F. L. Drew for instructions. Mr F. Lawton is not now first mate on tho Progress.
