Considerable interest is being manifested in the elocutionary recital that is to be presented by Miss Anita Winkel and her pupils in the concert chamber on November 18. Miss Winkel’s reputation as an exponent of the elocutionary art does not require any comment. For this recital shohas arranged an exceedingly attractive programme, one that will bo notable both for its diversity and quality. There will be sketches, choruses, recitals, and solos of pleasing variety, among the performers being such _ well-known elocutionists as Misses Tui Northoy, Isobel M'Gregor, Erana Newbold, Ngata Buswell, Audrey Watson, Molly Baker, Gwen Dewhirst, Lily Shrimpton, Clarice Warwick, and Wilfred Bunting. The costuming will be a special feature of the performance.
