CHAMPION'S NEXT RACE MELBOURNE, November 7. First Aero is an acceptor for to-mor-row’s V.R.C. Handicap, and Hunt the Slipper is engaged in the Fleraington Stakes. Tho horses left in the Fisher Plate, l,3oosovs, lim, are:—Phar Lap, Second Wind, Wise Force, and Lineage. Phar Lap is reported to be in excellent condition to-day. M'Carten will ride Pentheus in the Final Handicap, while T. Webster will ride First Acre and Hunt tho Slipper. Amounis is being spelled. Carradalo has been sold privately to J. Scobio, tho well-known trainer.
