STREET STALLS

DEFINITE LOCATIONS FIXED PEDESTRIAN CLEARANCE NECESSARY Review of the locations for street stalls has been made by the General Committee of the City Council. . The committee recommends that the following amended list be approved. In tho event of the list being adopted, any applicant who might bo granted a permit for a street stall would not bo permitted to place a stall or stalls in the streets at other than the locations set out in the list. The list is as follows:

Corner of London and George streets, at Bank of Now Zealand. Corner of Hanover and George streets, at National Bank. Corner of St., Andrew and George streets, at Neill’s. Corner of Moray place north and George Street, at the Moray Place Post Office.

Corner of Goorgo street and north end of Octagon. Corner of Princes street and south end of Octagon, opposite Hallenstein Bros,

Corner of Princes and Dowling streets, at City Hotel. Corner of Princes and Rattray streets, and Bank of New Zealand. Corner of Princes and Liverpool {streets, at the Union Bank. Corner of Stuart and Castle streets, t tho Law Courts.

Stalls are to bo sot up on the kerbline to tho satisfaction of the building surveyor, and are to bo placed clear of pedestrian traffic, particularly at street junctions
