Hunting Day galloped four furlongs well in 49sec, ami Spoon and Meprisant were together at the end of nine furlongs, covered in Imin 57 2-ssec. Cricket Bat beat Winsome Hind over four furlongs on the plough in 51 l-sscc, and Pharaoh and Jael ran five furlongs in Imin 4 2-ssec. Cylinder beat Star Stranger over the mile in Imin 43sec. Semper Paratns and Footfall galloped seven furlongs in Imin 30 l-sscc. Arrowmir ran half a mile in 51 3-ssec. Tarquinius beat Proud Knight over seven furlongs in Imin 31 2-sscc. Morris’s suspension for one month by the Otaki-Maori Racng Club is to stand, and ho will now be unable to ride at the Cup Meeting till tho third day.
