KEEN PUBLIC INTEREST IN NAVY WEEK.—Large numbers, of people visited Portsmouth Dockyard during “Navy Week” as many as 23,000 paying for admission in one day. H.M.S. Barham, one of the biggest battleships in the Royal Navy, attracted much attention. The fact that the Barham was one of the famous Fifth Battle Squadron, which co-operated with Admit al Beatty at Jutland, added considerably to the interest.
