CHANNEL SWIMMER WEDS AT DOVER.—Appropriately enough, Miss Mercedes Gleitze, the well-known Channel swimmer, was married at Dover a few Meeks ago. Her husband is Mr Patrick Carey, a Dublin engineer. The famous American swimming- twins, the Misses Berenice and Phyllis Zitenfeld were bridesmaids.
