The widow of Eric Hook, the Aus tralian who crashed in Burma while on a flight, to Australia with James Alatthows, is to marry at the end of the year a retired St. Albans dentist, Air 11. P, Hopper, whoso wife died about the time Hook’s body was found at the end of July. Airs Hook was then a complete stranger to him. but Air Hopper wrote convoying his condolences, and afterwards visited her in her Canterbury homo, where he was introduced by a friend.
