Tire Kotare sailed late last night for Invercargill and Port Craig. Tho Holmdale arrived this morning from Wellington direct, to unload and load '.goneral cargo. She is expected to sail to-night for Oamani, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington ,ond Wanganui. The Pipiriki sailecl yesterday afternoon for Sydney to discharge the remainder of her overseas cargo. The Progress and the Calm sailed last night, tho former for New Plymouth and Waikato via ports, and the latter for Wanganui via ports. It is expected to despatch tue Gale to-night for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, mid Wanganui. The Breeze is due in to-morrow night from the north, and she is to sail again on Saturday for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, ami Wanganui. Duo to-morrow • from Wellington, tljc Totara is to load cargo hero for Timaru, Lyttelton,’ Wellington, and New Plymouth. Tho Kaimanawa is due at Dunedin ou Saturday from Westport via Bluff. After discharging coal she, will load the same day for Westport via Timaru and Lyttelton. Tho Wainui was to leave Gisborne to-day for Dunedin, where she is duo on Monday to load cargo. She sails on Tuesday for Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne via ports. , Tho Wingatui is due in from Bluff on Sunday to load the next day for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland THE FERRY SERVICE. The Wahino, from Wellington, arrived at Lyttelton at 6.45 a.m. to-day, and passengers and mails connected with the south express. CORINTH 1C ARRIVES HOME. TlnS Coriuthic, which loft Auckland ou August 27 for Southampton and London via Panama, arrived at Southampton at noon on - Monday. PLUME AT WELLINGTON. Tho Vacuum Oil Company’s tanker Plume arrived at Wellington yesterday from San Francisco. She brings bulk moto’’ spirit for discharge at Wellington, Lyttelton, ami Dunedin, and on completion of discharge will proceed to Shanghai PERSONAL. Captain G. B. Hoddinott has relieved Captain E. R. Lowe as master of the Kahika. Captain E. J. M‘ClelJnn Jias been' appointed to command the Kaiiuai? Mr E. Sutherland has relieved Mr R. Brebner as chief officer of the Knnna. Mr J. Duncan has joined the Kanna as second officer, relieving Mr 11. B. Steere, for orders. Mr _L. Gitlan is now chief officer ol the Kaimni. Mr B. F. Fisher has relieved Mr S. A.
