GasKell, . from Liverpool via Panama and north New Zealand ports. King John, m.s. (2 p.m.), 5,228 tons, G. A. Porteous, from Nauru Islapd via_ Lyttelton. KING JOHN WITH PHOSPHATES. The King Line motor ship King John Which berthed at Port Chalmers this afternoon to unload Nauru Island phosphates, is a well appointed ship. She was built two and a-half years ago by Messrs Harland and Wolfl, Belfast. On the trip to Lyttelton from Namu rough weather was experienced, and the vessel’s top speed was only B.G knots.
