A fire swept the ‘Herald’s’ broadcasting station 3DB, and the editorial offices of ‘Stead’s Review.’ It also damaged the ‘Herald’s’ newsprint stores and contents. The total damage is estimated at £20,000. Among the apparatus burned were two most expensive microphones and three smaller dues,.
