SOCCER

In view of the fact that SeacTiff and Technical are running so close for premiership honours, that a loss to either side would seriously affect its position, the remaining engagements of these teams are full of interest. At Logan Park Technical will meet Northern and Seauliff will play Mosgiel on the latter’s ground. Both matches should provide keen football of the cuptie variety. At Logan Park a curtainraiser will be provided by the Otago primary schools’ representative teams, which performed so well at f.ho tournament held at Christchurch last month. The play of these boys is a delight to watch, showing that their coaching has been on the right lines. The other senior game is Otago High School Old Boys v, Maori Hill at the Oval No. 1.
