One candidate: was proposed, several others being on the hooks for initiation. There were also keen nominations for the offices. The C.K. welcomed the members of ’ Court Pride -of the Forest juveniles, which is attached to Courts Pride of Dunedin and Enterprise. The president, P.G.R.. Bro< Eason; returned thanks on their behalf.' After the meeting P.G.R. Bro. S. B. Brettell took the chair on account or it being the juvenile anniversary.: -A very enjoyable programme, including* a community sing, which preciated, • was offered Piano 1 selection, Miss.- Noni Davidson song, pros George Currie; recitation, Master H< Davidson; dance, Miss Anzac Patton juggling, Paul Reno; song; Bro. W. Ilu hotson;' song, Bro. G. Currie.-. Miss Noni Davidson and Mr Hargreaves were the accompanrits. After slipper'a- very enjoyable hour’s dancing was indulged in, Bro. Brettell, M.G:, keeping tlij dancers very busy to the music supplied bf Mr W. Clark,
