The clever “ bad man ” of the flickers is again seen as the insidious and conspiring doctor in ‘ The Return ot Dr Fu Manchu.’. He is supported by the same leadirig players who were seen in the first picture:—o. P. Heggie, the King Louis XL of ‘ The .. "Vagabond King’; Jean Arthur, Neil Hamilton, and William Austin. , . , For the benefit of those who might have thought Dr Fu Mancha a dead one after taking the poison ,in Iho Mysterious Dr Fu Manchu, it must be explained that the scheming doctor is a crafty Oriental, and that ho is a bard man to “ tell off.” Audiences may have thought he killed himself in the first picture, but those who see the second one will learn that no such self-inflicted penalty took place, and they will learn why. Mr Regan realises that the curiosity value of the talkies has definitely vanished, and that they now exist, like every other form of entertainment, on sheer merit alone. Mr Regan and Mr Stan Lawson have been working on tho show for some considerable time, and they have with them six or seven principals and a singing and dancirig ballet, of eight. The principals who are participating in the first f ‘ revuette ” are Misses Mollie Andrews, Rita Holmes, Anita Winkel, Myra Webster, Mesrs Arthur Macdonald, Brendon Fmlaysoii, Reg. Richards, J.
