FIRST CHURCH TENNIS CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING Tho annual meeting of tho First Church Tennis Club was held at Mrs Jos, M'Gcorgo’s residence, London street, last evening, Mr H. P. West, presided over-an attendance of twentyfive members. The chairman, on behalf of the members, extended a hearty welcome to the Rev. W. Allen Stovoly, the newly appointed Minister of the First Church, who expressed his pleasure in being associated with the club. Tho annual report and balance-sheet showed tho affairs of tho club to be in a satisfactory position. Tho following were elected officebearers: —President, Rev. AV. Allen BtcveK’; vice-presidents—Dr Borrie, Messrs 11. P. West, W. 11. Adams, J. J, Clark, J. M‘George, Crosby Morris, and J. L. Salmond ; club captain, Mr G. M. Salmond; secretary, Mr M. M’George ; treasurer, Mr C. W. Fraser: committee—Misses J. M'Neur, B. Salmond, and M. Watt, Dr Fowler, and Mr N. Mollison; bon. auditor, Mr A. P. Bremncr. Several new members were elected. The opening day was fixed for Saturday, September 20.
