The dispute between _ the Wairaki Coal Company and the miners employed by that company was settled at a sitting of the Conciliation Council yesterday (says a Press Association telegram from Invercargill). It was agreed to open the mine on Monday, and that the union should supply the number of men required to work the mine each, fortnight; the whole of the employees employed by the company on July 2S to share the work in turn.
