THOUSANDS ENJOY SKATING
“ Hare you been to the skating? •( seems to be the topical question on th* lips of the young people inDunedin. When the Regal Skating Rink was opened just over a week ago it immediately became a popular sport, ana many happy hours have been spent by thousands enjoying the thnll and fun of this invigorating pastime. Morning, noon, and night, the specially-con-structed floor of the rink seems to be the centre of attraction for entertainment. Those persons who do not desire to skate may enter the rink and look on, and thus get many laughs at the would-be skaters who find the sport riot as easy as it looks for the first half- , hour or so. There is no need to have your own skate®, for ikes© may bo od» tained on entrance. The sessions are advertised. From to-day, in response; to numerous requests, the management; proposes to close the morning session. 1 in favour of a session between 5.45 and; 6.45 p.m. to make time available for tuition by appointment.- There appears to be a doubt in the minds of some, people as to where the skating rink i» ; situated.
