A parcel of Waihis changed hands this morning at Is lid, this being the only transaction recorded. Bank of New Zealand® were in demand at £2 15s 9d, and sellers offered them at £2 16s 6d. N.Z. Insurances were quoted ex dividend of Is, an had an unsupplied buyer at £2 4s. The announcement of a proposed dividend of Is 3d failed to attract any buyers or sellers of Standard Insurances. Westport Coals were offered at £1 13s 3d, and ordinary Westport-Stoektoa share® at 2s 3d, without a buyer quoting in either case. Sellers of Australian Iron and Steel offered to quit at 19s, but no buyers quoted. N.Z. Drugs were offered at £3 3s without a- buying offer.
