The test forwards put much snap into their work in practising scrums, line-outs ; and rushes, while the backs impressed m neat handling bouts, in which the reverse pass was frequently exploited., The practice was held on the Rotorua High School ground in the presence of a large crowd of school children. Both Murray and Sobey participated, Sobey running about with freedom and at a good pace, though ho showed a tendency to limp when pulling- up, and cannot yet attempt kicking.
