NEW ZEALAND TEAM AT SEA [l’i'u United Pkess Association.] WELLINGTON, July 16. A letter from Mr Hobbs, manager of the New Zealand team travelling on tlio Aorangi to take part in the Empire Games, was received by Mr H. Amos. Mr Hobbs states that the team are all well except two of the oarsmen, who are suffering from boils, but improving. The team had use of the gymnasium at special times, and were given further facilities for training, Captain Martin being keen to do all he could for the party. The Now Zealanders were fraternising with Australians in deck games, and should got along well. Coneluding his letter on July 14 from Suva, Mr Hobbs said the sea was choppy. Some of the boys were a little sick and others were stiff from the previous day’s exercises. The members of the team were all a happy family.
