BASKET BALL
A GRADE. GIRLS’ HIGH v. ALBANY. From the throw-off Albany passed to their forwards, but a good save by High School sent the ball down the field, and a goal resulted. Albany quickly got into their stride, and from quick short passes several goals resulted. Girls’ High seemed to find the pace of Albany too great for them, but towards the end of the first half they got moving, and haif-tirae was called with the score 1411. In tho second half both teams scored rapidly in succession. Amid great excitement tho score reached 17 all. School were now setting the pace, and because of their splendid jumping and'quick passing had much the better of the play, and scored several goals in quick succession. An interruption occurred owing to an ankle injury, but play was quickly resumed, and the game resulted 27-25 in Girls’ High’s favour. B I. GRAD*-. Blue Triangle 18, O.G.H.S. 14, S 11, GRADE.
