Tho cast of characters is particularly strong, comprising as it does many old tried favourites in Messrs WilsonBrown, H. Roberts, N. Scurr, A. Lungley, and F. H. Howden, and L. do Clifford. The chorus -work is of an exceptionally high standing, and, tho musical numbers arc most fascinating. The ballet work will also be another big feature of the production, and the twelve young ladies of the ballet have been specially schooled by Mr Stan. Lawson. Tho piece is brimming over with clean, rich English comedy, and tho society is fortunate in having such a strong team of comedians who can bo relied upon to keep the ball rolling. The two specialty dancers who made such a hit in ‘ Our Miss. Gibbs ’ are reappearing, and promise to eclipse their previous efforts. Tho scenery and wardrobe, all prepared locally, aro excellent, and the public may look forward to an honest night’s entertainment. Tho British and All Black football teams are patronising the opening performance. The box plan is as 'advertised.
