THE CARTER MISSION
That people are interested :in religious meetings when the Christian message is presented in a plain, forceful, yet kindly manner is proved by the congregations which have gathered night after night at the Carter mission at South Dunedin. About half of 'those attending are not regular church-goers. The singing, under the leadership of Mr W. 11. M’Koniue and a large mission choir, is a helpful feature. From the opening night, when the church was completely filled, the misaionor’s pleasing manner and powerful messages hare won and 1 kept the keen interest of growing numbers. Mr -F. Carter, M.A., LLiB., has had a wide and varied experience in Australia, and as a preacher in America for seventeen years. His inspiringly-fresh way of presenting the way of the Man of Galilee gains him a readv hearing, and is certain to do untold good as ho moves through the dominion. The meetings will continue in tho South Dunedin Church of Christ to-morrow and each evening, except Saturday, during, next week..
