EARTH RUMBLINGS. A Hamilton message states that a series of subterranean rumblings were heard between Te Awamutu and Rukuhia last night. These were heard by » number of settlers at about 6.30, and resembled indistinct underground explosions. The windows rattled, but there was ho noticeable earth movement- Some became alarmed, lest these rumblings were connected with Arapnni.
