RADIO BROADCASTING

TO-NIGHT'S NEW ZEALAND PROGRAMMES The programme at IYA will consist of a relay of the Municipal Band concert from the Auckland Town Hall. 2YA’s programme will bo relayed from the concert chamber of tho Town Hall, where the Wellington Commercial Travellers and Warehousemen’s Association’s Male Voice Choir will be singing. Mr James Shaw (tenor) will make his second appearance at 3YA, when he will sing four different types of songs—- ‘ Tho Scent of the Lilies,’ ‘ Sally in Our Alley;’ ‘Mona,’ and ‘Hoses.’ Other vocalists will bo Miss Myra Edmonds (mezzo-soprano) and Miss Sylvia Angus (soprano). Popular airs will be played by Miss Elaine Moody’s steel guitar and ukulele trio. - Toseveral of the tunes Miss Moody will sing the vocal refrain. . Also bn tho programme will bo Mr G. Titchoncr (humourist), Air Harold Beck (’cellist), and the Christchurch Broadcasting Trio. 3YA’s programme will be relayed to IYA.
