LUKE-WARM WATER SOBBING INVALIDS “HEALED.” LONDON, April 22. r JVo hundred men, women, youths, and girls were baptised by Principal George Jeffreys, founder of the Elim Four-square Gospel Alliance, in a tank of luke-warm water in the arena ot tuc Albert Hall last night in the presence ot* 10,000 people. . , . People were overcome _hy emotion, and one woman was carried out in a faint.. APPEAL OF THE AILING. A largo number of the ailing put up their hands when Mr Jeffreys asked for those who wished to he healed. Many of them wailed and sobbed loudly us Mr Jeffreys prayed over each of them and placed his hands on their heads. A number sank on their knees and prayed earnestly. People began to queue outside the hall at 7 o’clock m the morning for The-healing service, fvhich wftji attended by a largo number of blind and crippled men, women, and children.
