WRESTLING

WALKER BEATS M'DOUGALL A professional contest at the Auckland Town Hall last evening between George Walker and Scotty M'Dougall was won by the former by two falls to one. M'Dougall obtained a fall in the third round with' a standing press. Walker 'charged his opponent in the seventh, - and M'Dougall sank to the mat holding his side. Walker easily pinned him. Pandemonium reigned in the interval, during which M'Dougall rested on the mat with his hand still, on his side. Walker gave the Scotsman every opportunity in the final round. M'Dougall wrestled fiercely at times, and at others doubled up as if in pain. Walker finally lifted his opponent and threw him heavily on to his back, then pinning him.
