For presentation to the hedefatxon of Chambers of Commerce of tho British Empire in London this month, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce adopted resolutions loading towards stimulation arid widening ot the industrial and trade opportunities within the Empire, and recommended tha at tho forthcoming Imperial Economic Conference in the autumn, the Government should appoint a commission to inquire into Empire resources and markets, and other factors entering into Empire trade. that the conimission should be retained as a permanent advisory body Other resolutions recommended more frequent visits to tho dominions of business men of consequence throughout *ho Empire in order to place before members information concerning opportunities for the establishment of branch industries and warehouses, and concerning the opportunities for a great flow of capital into the public utilities and into tho markets of the respective Empire inits, and lor investment in plant and equipment for industrial and commercial purposes.
