THE MYSTERY DEATH

A NEW THEONY NO CON USED ' [Pm United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, May 17. The theory submitted to the police as a possible explanation of the Price mystery is that no weapon was used, at all - By making an opening in the, cartridge enclosing the powder it could be placed in the mouth and ignited, by a match, nor would it (it is alleged bv the exponent of the theory) make a’ loud report. This would also explain the marks of burning round the mouth. [Walter Edwin Price, a Palmerston North builder, was found dead by his son lying on -tho floor, partly under the bed, and shot in the head. .No gun was found, and the son stated he had heard nothing during the night. The inquest has been adjourned twice.]
