Great interest is manifested in the first ot a series of ha'ls which is to be hold on Saturday next, in tho beautiful concert chamber, the floor of which is ■mohahly the finest in tho dominion, mving been specially built of matai, a hardwood timber noted for its greasy nature, and laid on springing joists. A large and efficient orchestra has been engaged.
